Who We Are

We are mother-daughter extraordinaire team, Chelsea Farley and Shannon Davis. My mother and I have journeyed through this crazy-thing called life for over 30 years together. We started our journey in southern California together in the 80s and have since made our way all the way east, back to California and back to the East Coast, in life. Together with my 11 year old daughter, Adah, we make a crazy and joyful family of three generations of women.
My mother was a single-mom who juggled full-time work,college, school, soccer & basketball games, figure-skating lessons and fishing trips, dogs and cats, keeping the home and paying the bills through a large portion of my childhood, and somehow stayed an organized champ through all of it. She has been my inspiration, as I, too, am a single-mama who has juggled self-employment, running a household, volunteering at schools, and playing taxi to my daughter's many activities. She has been my rock and support since the birth of my daughter in 2005. We have lived and worked together, run households together, raised my daughter together, and travelled and played together. We are the best kind of best friends two people could ever be. We love to spend time together, and help each other to laugh through all of the crazy stuff that life throws our way.My entrepueral spirit, her nuerotic cleaning habits and our combined love of helping others came together to form The Neat Freaks upon moving back to Asheville. We know how exhausting and stressful life can get while trying to work, run a household, take care of the kids and animals, do the grocery shopping,the appointments, and errands. It often leaves us exhausted with little time to take a shower much less play and socialize. We wanted to start a business where we could help relieve those stresses for others, leaving our clients with more time to spend with their families and friends, while still spending time together and having a schedule flexible enough to enjoy time with my daughter and our family and friends. We love to work when we are serving, and would love to help you live life with a little less stress, a little more energy, and little more time to enjoy the ones you love. We offer full-scale residential and office cleaning services using all natural cleaning products. Whether you need someone to clean and help maintain your home on a regular schedule, a one-time deep clean to help you catch up when you've fallen behind on household chores, or someone to help you clean during a busy move or renovation project, we have your covered, even the carpets. We also offer commercial cleaning services to non-medical office buildings, as well as personal assistance services such as home-organization, grocery shopping, running errands, and minor home-improvement tasks.
